What information we collect and how we use it

Mailing List

If you choose to sign up to our Mailing List, we will collect the following information:

  • Email address
  • Title (Mr, Ms etc.)
  • Name
  • Sector of Work
  • Position
  • Organization Name
  • City & Country

This information is used to circulate information on our news and events and to understand the nature of our audience, in order to better serve you. This data may also be used to create statistics on our outreach.

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the newsletter. By doing so, you will receive an automatic confirmation of unsubscription and your data will be automatically deleted.

Event Registration

If you choose to sign up to one of our events, we request the following information:

  • Title (Mr, Ms, etc.)
  • Name
  • Institution
  • Position
  • Email address
  • Sector of Work

This infomation is used to communicate with you about the event and to create an event participants list. This data may also be used to compile internal statistics about our audience.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you leave our site, please note that we are not responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting any third party sites. Who do we share your information with?

The Geneva Peacebuilding Platform does not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties, unless required by law to do so.

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
