Cyprien Fluzin

Policy Lead

An international lawyer by training, Cyprien Fluzin has worked for several years as a researcher and educator specializing in peace and security matters, human rights, migration, and counter-terrorism. At the GPP, Mr. Fluzin leads our engagement and facilitation work on peacebuilding policy issues, and advises on research and strategy. He is also responsible for the coordination of the GPP's networks and key partnerships, as well as for the informal discussions and knowledge-sharing activities we regularly organize with our partners. 

Previously, Mr. Fluzin worked for the UN Special Rapporteur on counter-terrorism and human rights, the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, the Geneva Graduate Institute, the Harvard Program on International and Armed Conflict, and the International Committee of the Red Cross, among others. He also contributed to the work of Geneva-based UN bodies, including the International Law Commission, the Human Rights Committee, and the Committee Against Torture. He was an adjunct lecturer at Sciences Po, Paris Dauphine University, and the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, and a visiting Research Fellow at the International Centre for Counter-Terrorism in The Hague.

Mr. Fluzin is a graduate of Harvard Law School, the Geneva Graduate Institute, and the University of Strasbourg.
