A Quarter-Century and Beyond: DCAF and GCSP Celebrate Major Anniversaries

The Geneva Peacebuilding Platform Foundation (GPP) is thrilled to celebrate the anniversaries of two of its founding board member institutions: DCAF - Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance and the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP). As founding members of the GPP, both Amb. Nathalie Chuard, Director of DCAF and Amb. Thomas Greminger, Director of the GCSP have been instrumental in fostering dialogue and collaboration in the peacebuilding community.

The GPP looks forward in supporting this celebration throughout the year, including during Geneva Peace Week, from 13 to 17 October 2025.

DCAF: 25 Years of Advancing Security Sector Governance

DCAF is celebrating its 25th anniversary, marking a quarter-century of dedicated work in advancing security sector governance and reform worldwide. Under the leadership of Amb. Nathalie Chuard, DCAF continues to shape the global security agenda, emphasizing the importance of transparency, accountability, and human rights in security institutions.

GCSP: 30 Years of Building Peace Together

The GCSP is celebrating 30 years of commitment to fostering peace, security, and international cooperation. Over the past three decades, the GCSP has served as a global hub for policy dialogue, executive education, and strategic foresight, equipping leaders and practitioners with the tools needed to navigate complex security challenges. Under the leadership of Amb. Thomas Greminger, GCSP remains at the forefront of global security discussions, adapting to an evolving geopolitical landscape.
